Finally....after more than 10 years of yearning, I am having cran-vanilla yogurt. I had it in BC, Canada and still think of it. Duh, note to self, make your own!
So I made cranberry sauce to top some vanilla greek yogurt using...
cranberries fresh,
the amount of water it said but I used apple juice
almost twice the sugar, used brown sugar
glug of real maple syrup
pinch orange peel, grated
2 drops vanilla flavoring
cook until syrupy, blend lightly in a blender, serve over yogurt YUMMMM
